St. Margaret's School is hosting a free lecture on Friday, February 24 by one of the nation's preeminent civil war historians, James I. "Bud" Robertson Jr. Mr. Robertson, a longtime history professor at Virginia Tech, will speak at 7 pm in the Ball Memorial Gymnasium located at 612 Water Lane in Tappahannock. Robertson is the author of more than 20 books on the Civil War and his latest book will be available for purchase and signing at the lecture.
