On Saturday, December 8, Larry Sisson, whose own collection of decoys is currently on display at the museum, was onsite to appraise antique decoys. The highest appraisal so far was $60,000. Come on down and see this fascinating event! The decoy pictured above was estimated to be worth several thousand dollars at a minimum. Amazing! This event runs until 4:00 this afternoon.
